I bought this skirt a year ago- and before this experiment, would have only worn it in the summer.
But, I’m trying to stretch myself and try new things. So far, I’ve worn it in the summer- as seen here, and the fall as seen here. Now it’s winter’s turn.
To make it appropriate, I’ve paired it with tights, boots and a chunky sweater that I picked up at J Crew on sale.
Instead of wearing the sweater plain, I’ve layered it over my denim shirt.
It’s my first day back to work after week of snow days… wish me luck!
Would it be wrong to wish for another huge snowstorm to hit?

I was blog hopping and found your blog. I look around and I like your style. Happy Monday!

I love it! Khaki skirts, broad stripes, cream tights, brass accents…an ’80’s revival! Jennifer Lopez was wearing a deep side part in her hair last night on Idol, and we see lots of full eyebrows again. Do you like high waisted pants? What’s your favorite ’80’s revival look?
really cute! I am also trying skirts and leggings or tights and am loving how comfortable and warm they are! I think I will be doing more in my future 🙂 Hope you have a great day back at work…
Thanks Laura, I am so surprised at how warm my legs are when wearing these thick tights and boots! I’m excited to be able to wear skirts all year long!
I think this would be even better with navy tights, but I love all your outfits!
good job wearing it through all the seasons. I was wishing the same thing today!! So hard to go back to work. 🙂
LOVE it! But why does it look like it’s too different colors? In one pic, it seems camel-colored. In the other, more like khaki. Love both outfits, though!
I think it’s the lighting, isn’t that weird?! I swear, it’s the same skirt! Amazing how it does look totally different!
Thanks so much for your comment! I appreciate it!
